G. Bareich Import-Export Inc., better known as GBIE, is a second generation family owned business that develops, manufactures, and distributes high-performance waterbased coatings globally. Founded in 1973, GBIE produced the first waterbased coating for use on automotive weatherseals in 1989, branding the original “SLIP-COAT.” Today, GBIE manufactures numerous high-performance coatings to provide the optimal solution for a wide variety of flexible substrates. With extensive technical knowledge and a dedicated R&D laboratory, GBIE continually works to formulate new SLIP-COAT products that exceed even the most challenging performance expectations.
